Cultural project with DAZED MENA and the iconic brand Air Jordan spotlighting PAC18 – La Coupe des Nations de Paris, one of the biggest African street football tournaments in Europe founded by Mamoudou Camara. Inspired by the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), this grassroots event has been thriving in the heart of Barbès for six years, driven by community, pride, and raw talent.Anthracity was commissioned to lead creative production, casting, and — most importantly — build a real connection with the people on the ground. Our mission wasn’t just to film or curate, but to amplify the voices that matter: the youth, the local heroes, the cultural architects often left out of the spotlight.
We launched a pop up at Union Jeunesse Internationale to celebrate the connection between Barbès and Los Angeles, two places with strong communities and rich histories!

Since we started out, we've always put the spotlight on underground and urban culture around the world, and more specifically Los Angeles, a city we've been documenting for a while now.Through Anthracity, we work directly with the legitimate players who shape the culture on a daily basis, and in this case it was Alex 2Tone, co-founder of the famous “Born X Raised' brand. A week before the release of their latest collaboration with Nike, we had the chance to chat about the brand's journey, a true L.A. staple - Long Live Spanto❤️Far from the traditional agency model, Anthracity's consultancy work is more than spontaneous, because we talk about what we know best, because we're at the very heart of that culture.
